First execute the file>new command to create a new file with a length of 10cm high of 6cm,300dpi.

In the Channels Control Panel, create a new ALPHA1 channel to make it the current channel.

Then, select the horizontal Text tool in the Toolbox, enter the letter on the channel, and drag it to the appropriate location.

The copy ALPHA1 channel becomes the ALPAH2 channel, making the ALPAH2 channel the current channel. and executes the filter>stylize>tiles command, prepares the letter to make the grid effect. In the Tiles dialog box, set number of tiles:10; Maximum offset:2%; Fill Empty Area With:background Color, confirm and press OK button.

Execute the Select>modify>expand command, and in the pop-up dialog box, set the expand by:1pixels to enlarge the edge of the letter.

Then execute the filter>other>minimum command to shrink the bright area of the edge of the letter. In the Minimum dialog box, set the Radius:5pixels, confirm and press OK button. Deselect the range.

The copy ALPHA1 channel becomes the ALPAH3 channel, making the ALPAH3 channel the current channel. Executes the Filter>blur>gaussian Blur command, preparing to make a blur effect on the letter. In the Gaussian Blur dialog box, set the Radius:4pixels, confirm and press OK button.

Executes the select>load selection command, ready to load the ALPHA2 selection. In the Load Selection dialog box, set the CHANNEL:ALPHA2, confirm and press OK button.

Executes the Select>modify>smooth command, preparing to smooth the letters. In the Smooth selection dialog box, set the sample radius:1pixels, confirm and press OK button.

Executes the Select>feather command, preparing to feather the letters. In the Feather Selection dialog box, set the feather radius:2pixels, confirm and press OK button.

Sets the foreground color to gray and presses the Alt+delete key to fill the selection.

Returns to the RGB color blending state.

Executes the select>load selection command, ready to load the ALPHA1 selection. Set the foreground color to red, press the Alt+delete key, and fill the colors.

Executes the filter>render>lighting effects command, prepares the letter to make the light effect. In the Lighting Effects dialog box, set the Style:default; Light type:spotlight; on;intensity:13; focus:92; gloss:60; material:42;

Exposure:13; ambience:0; Texture CHANNEL:ALPHA3, the adjusted effect can be viewed in the preview window on the left, the rest according to the default value, confirm and press OK button.

Continue to select the letter, and then select the Circle tool in the toolbox, with the mouse to move the selection to the right a little distance.

Executes the select>load selection command, ready to load the ALPHA1 selection. In the Load Selection dialog box, set channel:alpha1;operation Select Sutractfrom Selection, confirm and press OK button.

Executes the Select>feather command, preparing to feather the letters. In the Feather Selection dialog box, set the feather radius:2pixels, confirm and press OK button.

Set the foreground color to gray and then fill by 70% of grayscale. Done.
