Photoshop handles black and white portrait as Art watercolor effect

This tutorial is not a lot of production, but the author's creative thinking is very good. The simple use of some watercolor pens to create the art of watercolor shading effect, and then add the characters up, through a special treatment can get a very artistic painting works.

1, create 600 * 375 pixel size of the canvas, and copy the portrait material to the canvas, through the free transform to get the following effect.

2, due to the lower resolution of the material map, it needs to be repaired after amplification. Image >> Adjustment >> brightness/contrast.

3. Copy layer, apply on original layer: Filter >> artistic effect >> watercolor.

4, select the copy layer, image >> adjust >> valve value.

5, the valve value layer Mixed mode is set to "multiply the bottom", the combination of valve value layer and watercolor layer.

6, create a new layer, and use watercolor stamp brush paint canvas, need to go online to download some watercolor and ink brush, but also directly with the following material map.

7, Hide brush layer, select Portrait layer, choose All (Ctrl + A), copy (Ctrl + C).

8, remove brush layer hidden, and for the brush layer to add layer mask, hold down the ALT key and click on the brush layer mask into the Mask edit screen, paste (Ctrl + V), reversed (Ctrl + I).

9, leave the Mask edit screen, and hide portrait layer.

10, copy the background material to the top of the canvas, and change the layer blending mode to "linear deepen".

11, adjust the color, add text and other brush patterns to get the final effect.
