In the Layer panel, select the layer you want to work with as the current active layer. Unlike Once and Background Swatch, continuous is probably where the mouse is dragged and wiped. It is often used to erase areas of similar color in the background.

When you select Protect foreground color, the foreground color is protected and the eraser does not erase pixels that are the same color as the current foreground colors.

When you have finished setting the above parameters, you can select the appropriate size brush in the brushes panel, and then drag the mouse to erase the background in the image. This time your mouse will become a circular pattern with a cross, and its size is related to the size of the brush you choose.

Press Shift + E to quickly switch between the eraser (Eraser Tool), the Magic Eraser (Magic Eraser Tool), the background eraser (Background Eraser, Tool).

Method Five: New features of Photoshop 5.5 extract

Extract is a new feature of Photoshop 5.5 designed to "pull the image", which is located in the Image menu. You can select the layers you want to work with in the Layer panel (for security reasons, it is recommended that you make a copy of the layer), and then click the Image > Extract menu, and a dialog box titled "Extract" pops up.

In the upper left of the Extract window, there is a small set of tool icons. The first tool is called the "Edge Highlighter Tool", select it, and then you can trace the edge of the "dig". You can use the Brush size in the Tool Options bar on the right side of the window to determine the size of the brush to use when you stroke, and the hightlight and fill two parameters determine what color to use to represent the preview window's stroke boundary and populated area.

Carefully sketch the edges of the objects that need to be "pulled out" in the image, and ensure that the painted colors cover both the foreground and background of the image that need to be processed. For areas where the foreground and background boundaries of hair are not obvious, you should stroke the position where the foreground blends into the background. You can use a smaller brush for a distinct part of the foreground and background boundaries, and use a thicker brush in the blurry part of the foreground and background lines--please refer to the example above.

If the image needs to be pulled in the middle of the image, you must draw the entire edge of it, and if, like the example above, the object is on one side of the image, there is no need to trace a closed area.

The third position on the toolbar is the eraser Eraser Tool -If you are not satisfied with the boundary depicted in the previous step, you can use the tool to erase it and then repeat it.

The Zoom Tool in the penultimate position can be used to magnify the image in the preview area, hold down the ALT key, and then use Zoom Tool to shrink the image displayed in the preview area. The Hand Tool, the penultimate position, is often used to translate the image displayed in the preview area.

Once you have defined the boundary of the Tool, use the second position of the toolbar fill to populate the part of the image that you want to keep. Then you can press the Preview button to get a preview.

Select Original or extracted in the View drop-down list in the Preview bar, and you can see the original image or "pull" effect in the preview window.

In the show Drop-down list, you can set what color to use for the transparent background of the preview. Choose Other ... If you find that the edges of the processed image are jagged or fragmented, you should adjust the Smooth value and click the Preview button. Repeat this step until you see a satisfactory effect in the preview area. Then you can safely press the OK button to close the Extract window, "Pull the image" completed.

There may be individual details in the image that need to be adjusted, and you can use the History brush tool to restore the portion of the Extract that has been wiped out more. For backgrounds that are not erased, consider using the Eraser Eraser tool or the Background Eraser background eraser tool. Note: It is best to press Ctrl + "+" to enlarge the image and then carefully try it.
