Photoshop image synthesis Fast create surreal beautiful scene

This tutorial describes how to use Photoshop software to quickly synthesize a surreal fantasy scene with some common landscape images. This example makes a lot of steps, but the method is not difficult. We'll use Photoshop's layer blending options, layers, masks, various adjustments, cloud filters, and various tools. The main steps include a gradient background, an increase in grasslands, towers, floating islands, and effects such as light beams and halos in the clouds.

The materials to be used in this Photoshop image synthesis include: clouds, miscellaneous points, watchtower, grasslands, hills, stones and so on.

Step one to create a gradient background

1, create a new file, size of 900 pixels x1200 pixels, the background layer to fill white, create a new layer, use the gradient tool from top to bottom drag the mouse, fill a from #00eaf7 to transparent linear gradient, as shown in the figure.

Create a new layer and use a deeper blue (#227398) to make the gradient fill, as shown in the following figure.

The reason why you use two gradient layers is to make it easier to adjust each gradient, and you can adjust each layer individually to be more flexible. Complete the effect as shown.

Now create a new layer, named "Cloud", and use the previously downloaded cloud brush to draw some clouds over the gradient background.

Create a new layer named "Miscellaneous points," and use a smudge brush to draw some clutter in the position shown in the following figure. Be careful not to draw too many parameters to adjust to about 20%.

Press Ctrl+j to duplicate the clutter layer, and then set the motion blur effect (Filter-blur-motion blur) as shown in the figure.

Step two to increase the grassland

Now, let's add some lawn elements, open the lawn footage in Photoshop, and use the selection tool to select the grass section shown in the following figure.

Paste the cut lawn parts into the background, adjust the position to the bottom of the screen, and use the large soft eraser tool to clean up the top edges to make them blend with the background.

After the completion of the effect is as follows:

Open the hill footage in Photoshop, select the mountain section using the Selection tool, and then copy it, as shown in the figure. Similar to the steps in the previous selection of grasslands.

Copy the copied mountain footage to the screen, adjust the position to the right of the entire screen, and use the large soft eraser tool to blur the edges, as shown in the picture.

Copy the mountain layer, set the horizontal Flip, select the menu edit-adjust-horizontal flip, and move to the left side of the screen, as shown in the picture.
