Apply Layer style and filter effect synthetically, make a glass text effect. The tools you apply to are text tools, rubber tools, and layer styles you use: projections, bevel and emboss, color overlays, and filters you use: Clouds, add noise, blur of motion, fiber, light effects. After completing the tutorial exercise, you will be able to appreciate how important it is to have flexible applications.
First look at the tutorial effect
1, open Adobe Photoshop CS4 software, execute menu: "File"/"New" (shortcut key CTRL + N), pop-up New dialog box, set name: Glass text effect, Width: 500 pixels, Height: 500 pixels, resolution: 72 pixels/inch, Color mode: RGB color, 8-bit, background content: white, after setting, click OK button, as shown in Figure 1.
2. Select the Toolbox Gradient tool (shortcut key g), set it to a linear gradient in the Tools Options bar, and then click an editable gradient to eject the gradient editor. Set Black to white, double-click a in Figure 2, set color RGB to 10 respectively, 16, 21, and then double-click the B in Figure 2, set the color RGB 20, 66, 56, and then double-click the C in Figure 2, set the color RGB to 44, 90, 26, click OK button, and then press the keyboard Shift does not combine the mouse from top to bottom down, to the gradient effect, press the keyboard shortcut ctrl+d to cancel the selection, as shown in Figure 2. The effect figure is shown in Figure 3.
3, click the Horizontal Type tool in the toolbox, enter Q, and then set the font on the Tools Options bar: castellar, Size: 320, Color: tint, set anti-aliasing method: Sharp, as shown in Figure 4.
