Refactoring a product in Photoshop is a big challenge, but it's also fun. Today we're going to refactor Apple's most beautiful revolutionary product,-ipad. Final Effect Preview
1, in photoshop new file width 624px, high 921px, background color set to white, resolution 72DPI. Add a gradient from top to bottom, blue to white. Select the Rounded Rectangle tool, the fillet radius is set to 22px, and draw the shape shown below to rename the layer to "border".

On the "border" layer, pull out the border. Ctrl-click the "border" layer thumbnail, get the selection, perform "Select-Modify-shrink", reduce the 6px, and press DELETE.

Using the Claim tool, click Border to get the selection, create a new layer to fill the black, and rename the layer to "dark Glass." Create a new layer, rename it to "screen", and use the rectangular tool to draw the screens, so far we've got 4 layers, background, border, black glass, screensaver.
