Photoshop produces stunning eclipse light effects

The eclipse effect is not complicated, but in the early stage, we need to understand its level. It is roughly divided into three parts: the background and the radiation beam at the bottom, the glowing planet, and the halo and dark regions at the top. This is very simple to make.

Final effect

One, create a new document, set the foreground color as: #500000, the background color is black, and then execute: Filter > Render > Cloud, get the effect shown in the following figure.

Second, click the Quick Mask button below the toolbox to enter the quick mask, and then do the red to transparent gradient from the top down, as shown below.

Third, press the letter key "Q" to exit the quick mask, get the selection shown in the following figure.

Implementation of constituency: Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation, parameters and effects as shown below.

V. Cancel the previous selection, create a new layer to fill the black, and perform: Filter > Noise > Add Noise, and the parameters are set as shown below.

The layer uses filter blending mode and performs: image > Adjustment > Color, adjust the brightness of the white spot.

Seven, to get the image below the sky effect, and then use the Eraser tool to erase some white spots, so that more real.

Eight, drag into a lava rock picture material, then cut into a circle, the following figure.

Nine, copy the circular sun layer, and move to the original layer underneath, to the copied layer execution: filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, Parameters and effects as shown below.

Add the color overlay style to the blurred layer, set the following figure, and then use the Smudge tool to deal with the effect of diffusion.

Select the solar layer selection, perform: Filter > Twist > Spherical, parameters and effects as shown below.

12, add to the sun layer: inner Shadow, outer glow, inner glow, color superposition, parameters and effects of the following figure.

13, create a new layer, drawing, such as the semicircle, filled with black. Execution: filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, Parameters and effects as shown below.

14. Create a new layer filled with black, perform: filter > Render > Lens flare, set the parameters below, and then change the layer blending mode to "color filter".
