About Shooting
The film was shot at a small farm behind the school. The scene was very empty and there was a windmill in the distance. However, it did not want to appear clearly in the picture because it looked very new, so I chose an open space which is a certain distance from the Windmill for shooting.
Preparations
The sunset time in the North is getting earlier and earlier. It is quite appropriate to take a film near the Sunset at around pm, I checked the sunset time of the day in advance when shooting this group of films. However, due to insufficient preparation, it was only about an hour before the sunset, and the time was very hasty. (You must never learn from me. When you are in a hurry, it is easy to make strange things ···)
Equipment: Canon 5D3 + Sigma 35/1. 4 (no reflector or flashlight is used throughout the shooting)
Later stage
Step 1: The LightRoom film was later used with LR + PS. First, let's introduce the process in Lightroom.
White balance: first, import the photo into the lightroom. Because the color temperature changes greatly in the evening, you need to modify the white balance of the photo. When the color temperature increases, the whole picture will look warm and the decrease will be cold. Because the color of the last slice is expected to look warm yellow, the color temperature is slightly right.
Exposure: After the white balance adjustment is completed, adjust the exposure and brightness of the photo. Because the light is poor and there is no supplemental light device, the main reason is to increase the exposure, reduce the dark highlight and white color level, increase the shadow and black color level without affecting the color texture of the hidden hair. This step varies depending on your needs. As shown in the following figure, this is a key step to pull the original image back from obvious exposure.
Histogram: Next we will introduce a small tool to adjust the brightness of a photo: histogram. In my opinion, it is used to reflect the color distribution of various colors in the graph. When adjusting the parameters, you can observe the changes in the histogram to determine whether there are still underexposure and overexposure parts.
The top is the histogram before the adjustment, and the bottom is the adjusted histogram. It is obvious that the hidden part before the adjustment is obviously underexposed, and the bright part is obviously overexposed, after adjustment, the brightness of the entire image is much more even. (Here, I want to keep the blade details of the distant windmill. If the face is exposed properly, this will directly cause some windmills in the distance to lose details due to light scattering .)
Now, we can get the effect chart after adjusting parameters such as white balance, exposure, and histogram.
Tone: after adjusting the above parameters, we will continue to adjust the tone curve, increase the dark area again, and press the highlight to make the photo look more harmonious.
In addition to adjusting the tone curve, we also need to compare the adjustment of each color in the film. My idea is: adjust the color of the skin through orange, increase the brightness to improve the transparency, the screen needs to be warm yellow, so the light green, blue, purple, and other colors are not the main colors in the screen to properly reduce the saturation, to highlight other colors accordingly.
At the same time, because the color of the photo is yellow after the color temperature adjustment, what I do in this step is to reduce saturation in different proportions instead of increasing saturation, otherwise the film will appear too heavy, lost the expected results.

After processing these parameters, we have basically completed the adjustment in the lightroom. Let's take a look at the difference between the current photo and the original image.
Is there any difference? However, this is not enough. We will find that the picture, color, and skin flaws still need to be adjusted. Next, export the photo to Photoshop.
Step 2: PhotoShop
In PS, I usually get used to copying a layer before Adjustment. First, I use the [filter-liquefaction] tool to slim the girl and adjust the proportion of the head and shoulders, then use the stain repair paint brush tool to deal with acne on the girl's face. Then, we use a curve to minimize the brightness of the dark part of the face. And then pad the layers to prepare for the next step.
Next, we will further process the stamped layers. For this set of photos, I used the plug-in polishing, and the use of the polishing plug-in is Imagenomic Portraiture.
In fact, you don't have to use all the things in that row. The common step is to use white in mask to select the brightest part of the skin, and use black to select the dark part, the plug-in can automatically calculate the color of the skin, and then I usually add a contrast, the color temperature is saturated or something, I will not do anything. The layer after skin polishing is wiped with a mask on the skin. Many of the remaining parts are of skin-like colors, so they are not retained. Adjust the opacity of the skin polishing layer to 40% and stamp the layer.
In the next step, I am using the HALO-based plug-in Nik Collection-Color Efex Pro. Of course, its role is far from just adding Halo or soft light. It depends on your personal preferences.

Step 3: re-map
As we mentioned at the beginning, due to the tight shooting time, the figure of this photo has obvious problems. For example, the following hand is cut in half and the position on the back horizon is very embarrassing, so we can adjust it through some special methods.
The method I used was to cut the half of my hands, stretch up the sky, and add text to the blank sky.
Crop and adjust the canvas: you can use the cropping tool to crop the canvas. Then, you can adjust the canvas size in the image menu. Note that if you want to resize the upper part of the image, you need to select the position as shown in the following figure. Otherwise, the canvas will be stretched up and down.
Screen stretch: Select the pure sky in the upper part of the graph, and press Ctrl + T to stretch it. If there is no obvious trace of the stretch part, you do not need to use tools such as imitation stamps to cover the trace, so you can proceed to the next step.
Cropping again: After completing the preceding steps, you can use the cropping tool to crop the stretched image to achieve the secondary graph.
Add text: before shooting, I have set a name for this topic. Therefore, you can directly use a text tool to add the corresponding text in the graph. The font uses Chalkduster, text color uses a straw to absorb the same color of the orange sun in the lower left corner of the figure.
