Photoshop to draw colorful Christmas lights

1 Create a new picture in Photoshop.

Set width:150pixels; Height:150pixels:contents:white.

Select Line Tool (U) and click on the arrows in the settings bar (under the menu bar), such as the picture, pop-up a small box, such as diagram settings.

Go back to the settings bar and set the weight:6px.

2 Open the Channels panel (Windows>show Channels). Now add a new channel and choose White as the foreground color. Draw an Arrow shape with line tool (drag from top down), you may want to try a few more times, the result is like a sample.

3 Select Menu Filter>blur>gaussian Blur. Set Radius:5.0pixels, then OK.

4 Select Menu Image>adjust>levels. Set Input levels:80;0.25;125, then OK

5 back to the Layers panel. Click on the background layer. Then create a new layer. Select Menu Select>load Selection, select alpha 1 in the Channel dialog box, and then OK.

6 fill the selection to red. Select Menu Select>deselect. Now select Menu Layer>layer style>inner Glow.

Blend Mode:normal

Opacity:75

Color:hex # 9a0016

Choke:20

Size:10

After setting up, click OK

7 Create a new layer. Select Line Tool (U). Now you want to change the settings you made in the first step, select the arrow for the Settings bar, remove the hook in the box before start, go back to the settings bar, and set the weight:3px. Set the foreground to white.

Now we're going to draw the light, enlarge the image to make it easier for you to work, and then follow the light to the left and draw a diagonal line. This is the bright spot.

8 Select Menu Filter>blur>gaussian Blur. Set Radius:1.0pixels, then OK.

9 Now we're going to start making lampholders. If you do not have a suitable aluminum alloy gradient, please download it here, store it in your Photoshop directory, and then load this file, as shown below.

Select Rectangualr Marquee Tool (M), select the lower part of the light, and then draw the lampholders horizontally with gradient Tool (G).

10 now we are in the final detail. Make a small shaded section between the lamp and the lampholders. Select Line Tool (U), set weight:1px, and draw a black thread.

11 Now we can make our lights colorful. Select the layer where the red light is located and select the menu image>adjust>hue/saturation. Adjust the Hue and set the appropriate color in the 6th step, you can turn out colorful lights.
