Photoshop to draw lifelike metal hammers

It is a little difficult to make irregular metal objects. Because the irregular surface is not like a circle or a rectangle with a set of metal gradient color or layer style can make the metal texture effect. The high light dimming part of this type of graphic needs to be added by hand.

1, create a new 800 * 800 pixel canvas. Background Select White. The hammer in the effect picture is tilted, not too good to pull out and control the selection. Let's do the vertical and then change the angle.

Create a new layer, named "Total Outline", with a pen to tick the entire hammer outline, into a selection of the 1, fill the black, the effect is as shown in Figure 2.
