Photoshop to make simple wood relief words

Photoshop produces simple, wood-embossed words. Embossed word production is divided into two parts: middle text and edge. The middle text needs to add wood grain, and deal with darker, and add the inner shadow and relief to make depth, the edge part of the description of the dark and high light.

Final effect

1, open the picture below the wood grain material.

2, select the Text tool, enter the text you want, the font should be slightly larger, as shown in Figure 2, after the text layer to copy a layer, the original text layer hidden.

3, the background layer to copy a layer, and then move the copy layer above the text layer, press CTRL + ALT + G to create a clipping mask, and then press CTRL + M to adjust the curve, a little bit darker, the following figure.

4, create curve adjustment layer, the RGB, red, green channel adjustment, parameter settings such as Figure 4, after the creation of a clipping mask, the effect is shown in Figure 5.
