The method of changing text from black to white is to create a white text layer, and make the fill opacity of the text layer into an animation to form the effect from black to white. In fact, the effect should be gradually invisible, only because the background is black. The text edge is a stroke, and a pattern stroke is used. You can use the mouse to adjust the position of the pattern stroke, which is made into an animated effect. Most of the edge flash effects can be made in this way. In addition, you can try zooming the pattern into an animation, and the effect is similar. The most important part of Photoshop animation content is the basic concepts such as Timeline and key frames. On this basis, to make the animation beautiful and refined, you need to rely on the style. Therefore, it is also an important condition to be proficient in using layer styles. This tutorial introduces the basics of animation, that is, using masks in animation. Of course, before that, you must have mastered the knowledge of the mask part in the basic tutorial. we will not repeat it here.
In the timeline project, you have seen the masked items, which are divided into common lattice masks and vector masks. Each of them has two animation items: the position of the mask and the Enable of the mask.
Enabling is the validity of the mask, that is, enabling or disabling the mask. It can be used to control the appearance or disappearance of objects, but cannot have a transitional effect. That is to say, either it exists completely or it does not, rather than the transition between the two. The practical value is not very great, because we can directly use the layer opacity and "preserve interpolation" to achieve the same effect.
The mask position is a very useful project. if we want to make an animation that simulates the progress bar, as shown in. Because Photoshop does not support deformation animation, it cannot be implemented simply by conversion commands. Although it can be made using the "independent layer" introduced earlier, it is too cumbersome and very difficult to edit later.

It is very simple to use a mask to make this animation. draw a rectangle in the new layer, create a completely white mask, and then fill it in black to remove the link between the mask and the layer, as shown in the left figure below. Then you can set the animation project where the mask is located. The process is very simple, that is, keep the mask Black at the start time, and move it at the end time (from left to right) until it is completely white, that is, it no longer blocks the layer content. The animation file is set to 1 second and 15 fps.
You can also make a mask with a gradient, as shown in the right figure below. This makes the end of the progress bar look smoother.

In addition to moving the position of the mask, you can move the content in the layer without moving the mask. Create a text layer, and use a gradient tool to mask it to produce a symmetric gradient effect. The image effect is shown in the left figure, and the layers palette is shown in the right figure. After removing the mask link, you can Animation the position of the layer. Note that it is no longer a mask position project, but a layer position we have learned before. The animation file is set to 2 seconds and 15 fps.
Although the mask is not directly moved at this time, the animation can only be completed through the masking effect of the mask, so it is still classified as a mask animation.

Unlike the text movement we have done before, the above effect can be called text scroll. The main difference between the two is that the text content of the former is completely displayed, and the latter appears in turn. If you want to make the scrolling text have a circular effect, you need some skills. the reciprocating setting is not applicable to this. because of the reading habits, it is not suitable to scroll back the text in the past, it is like a sentence that cannot be read in turn. Although loop playback by default is also a solution, there will be a blank space after the last letter of the text passes.
We can copy text content to form a loop without blank content. Copy the text in two copies and paste it into the original text, and change "Photoshop" to "Photoshop_Photoshop_Photoshop ". Place "p_P" in the center of the layer (or a certain) of the first two words at the start time, and move the 2nd links to roughly the same position at the end time. Small differences in animation are hard to detect, so it does not matter if it is not accurate. To be accurate, you can set the exact alignment of a letter's stroke (such as the left-side vertical of P.

At this time, the loop effect has been formed, but there are frames in the same status at the start and end times. As this is not a symmetric reciprocating animation, you can directly move the key frame at the end point () to, as shown in. If you have mastered what you have learned before, you can understand that actually does not belong to the animation process. The real animation process is from.
Not only text, but also various graphical symbols can be used to make one-way circular animation.

Photoshop can also make animations for a layer group, but it is limited to the overall opacity of the layer Group and the layer Group mask. It is a pity that Layer group position animation is not supported. If the Layer group position animation is supported, we can easily make relative motion. For example, you can first create a horizontal movement of text on the button, then combine the text with the button into a layer Group, and then define a vertical movement animation for the layer Group to complete the above job.
