Definitions and usage

The Filemtime () function returns the last time a file's content was modified.

If successful, the time is returned as a Unix timestamp. Returns False if the failure occurs.

Describe

FileName required. Specify the files to be inspected.

Description

This function returns the time when the block of data in the file was last written, that is, when the contents of the file were last modified.

Tips and comments

Hint: The result of this function will be cached. Please use Clearstatcache () to clear the cache.
