mb_convert_encoding- encoding of converted characters

Descriptionstring mb_convert_encoding ( string $str , string $to_encoding [, mixed $from_encoding = mb_internal_encoding ( ) ] )

str Converts the character encoding of string type from an optional from_encoding to to_encoding .

Parameters

str

The string to encode .

to_encoding

strThe type of encoding to convert to.

from_encoding

specified by the character code name before Conversion. It can be an array or a comma-delimited list of enumerations. If not provided from_encoding , the internal (internal) encoding is Used.
