BOOL MkDir (string $pathname [, int $mode [, bool $recursive [, Resource $context]])

Try creating a new directory that is specified by pathname.

The recursive parameter is added by PHP 5.0.0. This parameter is convenient if setting recursive to the True,mkdir function will create the given pathname recursively.

The workarounds in PHP 4 are also given below:

function Mkdirs ($path, $mode = 0755) {           if (!is_dir ($path)) {               mkdirs (dirname ($path), $mode);               mkdir ($path, $mode);           }           return true;       }  


