STRNCASECMP () function

Definition: the strcasecmp () function compares two strings.
Syntax: strncasecmp (string1,string2,length);

Parameter list

Parameters	Description
String1	Necessary. Specifies the first string to compare.
string2	Necessary. Specifies a second string to compare.
Length	Necessary. Specifies the number of characters each string is used to compare.

return value Condition:

return Value:	the function returns:
equals 0	If two strings are equal
Less than 0	If string1 is less than string2
Greater than 0	If string1 is greater than string2
