PHP stream_socket_client step is disabled, is there a workaround?

PHP's Stream_socket_client method is disabled, is there a workaround?

Stream_socket_client need to pass $CTX parameters to do user verification, but this method is disabled, there are other ways to achieve the function of stream_socket_client?

Actually I put the application on the SAE, but the Stream_socket_client method is disabled on the SAE, I can't push the iphone client, is there any other way to replace it? PHP ? Socket

Disabled does not mean that this feature is not
The SAE disables all functions that interact with the external (including the file system), but also has a class that provides the equivalent (or more powerful) functionality. But they all need to be open in the console, and some pay.


