Pinta is a free open-source drawing application, which is very popular among Linux users. You can also regard it as an open-source alternative to Microsoft's drawing software. Pinta can be used on many platforms, such as Linux, Windows, and MacOSX. As a fully functional image editing software, Gimp is more popular than Pinta. I often use it to draw arrows and curves on me, and I can say this is my favorite drawing application on Linux.
