After installing Oracle and PLSQL, open the listener on the server.

Right-click a computer, choose management> services and applications> services> open services starting with Oracle, especially listening. This is the most important and specific.

(1) configure the listening location

(5) Default port number. Click Next To go to the page. The service name is the Instance name of the connected database. After entering the information, go to the next step.

(6) on this page, you can click the test button to test the database connection.

(7) The user name and password of the current logon, test results, and causes are displayed. Click the change logon button to change the user name and password. The user name starts with lc, the Instance name (m572) in the GS suite in the middle, and the last 9999. The password is the password used to connect to the database. After you click "OK", the corresponding information is displayed, whether the test is successful or failed.

(8) In this way, the server configuration is basically completed.

I created a connection from PL/SQL Developer to an Oracle Server on another computer. I don't know if this connection can always exist?

SQL developer can connect to the server, but sqlplus cannot connect to the oracle database

Sys as sysdba is operating system certified and must be executed on the machine where oracle is installed
Sqlplus sys/password @ Instance name logon error. Are you sure the Instance name you wrote is correct?
In most cases, sqlplus can be logged on, and SQL developer cannot log on. Check your instance name.
