Sdlmame is a later version of xmame and is the best option for simulating arcade games in Linux. Pai_^
Install
Sudo apt-Get install sdlmame
The configuration file of sdlmame is/etc/sdlmame/Mame. ini. The default rompath for installation is:
$ Home/. Mame/ROMs/;/usr/local/share/games/sdlmame/ROMs
Just put the ROM of the game to be simulated under rompath and run sdlmame gamename
You can play the game you want to play.

The first simulated game will prompt you to add Rom or something and Type OK.
Press the tab key to enter the settings menu.
The default value is player1, palyer2, and 5, and 6, respectively.
The player1 direction key defaults to the direction Keyboard Under Delete.
Player2 direction keys are r, f, D, and g by default.
For other buttons, the specific game is different.
By default, sdlmame runs in full screen mode. If you do not like to edit/etc/sdlmame/Mame. ini
Change the value 0 of the window command to 1.
By default, I have enabled hardware acceleration, so it runs smoothly without any pause.
