Play Raspberry Pi--upgrade noobs offline installation media to Raspbian 4.9 and Windows IoT C

A system upgrade for Raspberry Pi is something I've always wanted to do. Time always feel not enough, so also long not touched.

It wasn't until the last few days that the MVP group had a brother asking everyone about GitHub to pay attention to each other, and I suddenly remembered what I had written before. To make an offline installation media article: http://haohu.blog.51cto.com/2474833/1858600

Because the files needed to make Windows IoT core were put on GitHub before. Recently, the computer's Windows 10 was updated to 1703, and it was time to update the Windows IoT core on the Raspberry Pi. (it is said that there are a lot of new things, such as cortana~ this one, write another article.) )

So I took out the TF card, downloaded the ISO, updated the noobs, and then confidently opened the Raspberry Pi power ... Wt...... An error has been made ... 848 ...

What about installing it online? A sleep woke up, but at 0.1M Speed installed successfully, but, started up, incredibly is 14393! Is the only way to install each download through IoT dashboard?

First update the dashboard App.

Open "Set up new device" directly, download the new image 15063, and write it to the card.

Are you online every time? No, I can't. What can I do, I am also very desperate ah ...

First solve the problem of why it is not 15063 but 14393. Look at the logs first.

If the system is installed through Noobs, the first is running in the Linux based installation environment before booting to the Fat/ntfs file system, so you need to use a system or tool that can read and write the EXT4 partition.

After trying the open source ext2fd (as if to call this), because found in win 10 often can't eject media, and later chose to use another card to boot into the Raspbian system to see the log and copy. Because the copy out of the log with Notepad look too messy, also have to use ultraedit such as look.

I compared all the log files that were successfully started with 14393 and 15063:

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/9B/5C/wKiom1liQMbx_ Tlbaadaiqegawk648.png "" "height=" 192 "/> 650" this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/9B/5C/wKioL1liQMfQ2TNRAADCU_ Pzyuw712.png "" "height=" 192 "/>

I find that they are basically consistent, and from this point of speculation, 14393 upgrade to 15063, the installation of the architecture has no fundamental changes. So, what caused the online installation to be 14393 versions? Based on the previous exploration (although it took a little effort to regain these points), the partitioning and OS scripts did not contain the corresponding ISO path.

So, when I installed the noobs online, I chose the Windows Insider version and failed:

650) this.width=650; "title=" 667182648009381734 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" 667182648009381734 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/9B/5C/wKioL1liQMihT6_ 6aaa1xjlk40q546.jpg "" Height= "/>"

Adjusted the next idea, a file a file to look down, found that after the success of a Isodlurl file, recorded the download URL. Control the partition partition_setup.sh script and Installtool-output.log, presumably this address link is written dead in Installtool inside.

So I took out the ultraedit ... 16 in the conversion file, sure enough to find the 14393 URL, not polite to change to 15063 of the URL:

Http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=821940–> http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=846058

Re-boot test, all the way 0.1M download ... When I was about to fall asleep, I got an error.

650) this.width=650; "title=" 495456127197825982 "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" 495456127197825982 "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02/9B/5C/ Wkiol1liqmmj34cuaaazxvjgphi904.jpg "" "height=" 111 "/>

Yes, where did it go wrong? It's almost 3 o'clock in the morning.

Think of the re-packaging Installtool time with 7zip, aimlessly with 7zip decompression ISO, and then unzip the MSI ... Read the hash, and read the 7zip log ... Is the value of the SHA1 of ISO also written into the Installtool? Search for ASCII and hex, did not find ...

Can't sleep, where is the problem? I have opened all the script files ... Why did you get an error when downloading the ISO process? Why not download the ISO installation when the error? ......

Finally I found the problem! The original partition script, the scratch partition to the 800M, the original 14393 ISO about 600 m, so is enough, and now 15063 of the ISO has been about 700 m, decompression estimates not put down ...

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; margin:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00/9B/5C/wKioL1liQMqRd2ivAACNQtTM_ 5g690.png "" 304 "height="/>

Change the script now-by the way, change the Installtool path from the Microsoft site to local.

650) this.width=650; "title=" image "style=" border-top:0px; border-right:0px; Background-image:none; border-bottom:0px; padding-top:0px; padding-left:0px; border-left:0px; padding-right:0px "border=" 0 "alt=" image "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M01/9B/5C/ Wkiom1liqmzxid12aadf67mfsre441.png "" 304 "height="/>

It also modifies the image path in the script to be accurate. Boot, the speed of about 1.2M, should be local!

Unplug the network cable, finally, the installation success! See the 15063 Interface!

Wake up, already 6:30, 8 o'clock to start the day of the meeting, there is time to update GitHub:
