After the installation of Oracle (64-bit), PL/SQL, the following error occurs when you run PL/sql:
According to the online data, my PL/SQL is incompatible with Oracle, that is, PL/SQL does not support 64-bit Oracle, so the next 32-bit Orcale client is configured with the appropriate parameters:
To resolve the steps in small notes:
One, download Oracle 32-bit client
: http://www.onlinedown.net/soft/102902.htm (Oracle 10g Client Lite Green Edition)
Second, extract to the Oracle installation directory under a directory called Product, and rename (the name is not necessary), I do this step is named Instantclient_11_2
third, PL/SQL configuration,perference->connection inside set OCI library and Oracle_home
Oracle Home (Empty is AutoDetect): This option configures the Oracle client's home directory
OCI Library (Empty is AutoDetect): Configure the full directory of Oci.dll under Oracle Client directory for options
Four. Setting environment variables
for Nls_lang environment variables, it is best to set to the same as the database side, first query the character set information from the database side:
sql> Select Userenv (' language ') Nls_lang from dual;
Nls_lang
----------------------------------------------------
simplified Chinese_china. ZHS16GBK
Right-click My Computer-Properties-advanced-environment variables-system environment variables:
1> Click "New" and the variable name is set to "Nls_lang" and the variable value is set to "simplified Chinese_china. ZHS16GBK ", click" OK ";
2> New environment variable "tns_admin" Variable Value "home directory for Oracle client"
In this my configuration is: "D:\app\Administrator\product\instantclient_11_2"
3>: Finally click "OK" to exit.
Restart PL/SQL no problem!
