Adaptec by PMC products provide high-density external connections for efficient storage expansion

The Lenovo 8885E by PMC card customized by PMC can take advantage of the throughput benefits of the 12gb/s SAS and 6.6GB/S PCI Express 3.0 to maximise the performance of thinkserver scale-out storage. The card will be used for Lenovo's rack-and tower-mounted servers.

The Lenovo 8885E by PMC Card is a half-height, an HBA card that provides 8 sas/sata ports for external connections to 6gb/s and 12gb/s JBOD. The card is seamlessly and reliably connected to Lenovo's Jbod via the PMC 12gb/s SAS Extender. The card supports all common operating systems, including various windows, RHEL, SLEs, and VMware.
