Poechant quick installation and configuration Tutorial: Windows + cygwin + boost development environment

1. Download cygwin and boost

(1) download cygwin: omitted.

(2) download boost: Download the boost. bz2] version.

2. Install cygwin

Note: Select GCC, G ++, GDB, and make.

3. Install boost

(1) copy the downloaded boost file to the corresponding directory of cygwin users, such as/home/Michael

(2) Enter cygwin and decompress boost:

Tar -- Bzip2-XF boost_rj41_0.tar.bz2

(3) enter the extracted boost directory and enter:

./Bootstrap. Sh -- prefix =/usr/local

This command uses the prefix parameter to describe how to install boost lib and include to/usr/local/lib and/usr/local/include. You can also select the installation location

(4) install boost

./Bjam install

This step takes a long time and requires patience.
