Transplant the ncurses program-General Linux technology-Linux programming and kernel information. The following is a detailed description. Today, I have compiled an ncurses library and written a simple program for testing. I found that the ncurses library cannot be normally used in Chinese.
Then I checked some information and added setlocale (LC_ALL, "zh_CN.utf8") to the program. then, the host can display Chinese characters, but the embedded terminal still cannot display them normally, I thought that the embedded kernel itself does not support Chinese characters. I wrote a Chinese File for testing and found that it can display Chinese characters. check the kernel configuration and support the UTF8 and GB2312 character sets.
However, if I use setlocale (LC_ALL, "zh_CN.utf8") or setlocale (LC_ALL, "zh_CN.gb2312") in the program, Chinese characters cannot be displayed normally. please help me.
