we can see VMNET0,VMNET1,VMNET8. Where Vmnet0 is the bridge mode, which is the mode we use most, the VMNET1 mode is only the host mode; Vmnet8 is NAT mode.

The reason for this is that the VMware Bridge Protocol protocol is not installed.

Workaround: Install the VMware Bridge Protocol protocol

(1) First open your computer's network settings there, to see if there is no installation of this protocol, if there is, and is checked the status (like), it is not the problem.

(2) If not, choose install-Services---from disk installation (find the installation directory where you installed VMware, for example my is E:\Program files\vmware) Select File: Netbridge.inf
