Post-doctoral application rejected (post-doctoral Series 2)

After I graduated from New York in 1990, I went to California and helped him start his own business at a friend's company. I had to immediately find another post-doctoral location. But because of missing the best season for finding a job, I sent an endless application letter and finally got the only interview notification-go to the department of chemical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I'm excited because this boss is called a "New Star" and I have a good idea to do it in his research field. However, the interview was not satisfactory. Maybe he slept for a while listening to my lecture due to a problem with my speech level. But afterwards, his students told me that he often does this, so I am lucky. But soon he refused me. He is said to have used a student from his colleague. At that time, I was very sad, because I had no way to go. At this moment, the relationship played a role. The boss personally came forward to find the student he taught in North Carolina. The master elder sister helped me out and squeezed some money from the funds. But it cannot be regarded as a full-time employee (I know later), so I don't even have public medical insurance, so I have to buy an Emergency Protection Service at my own expense. I stayed at her for a year, double happiness, and successfully applied for a postdoctoral scholarship to the u. S. nsf and national institutes for a postdoctoral job at Harvard University.

When I arrived in Boston, I suddenly felt a whim. I wanted to visit the nearby MIT and refused my professor. I was surprised. However, my work there on "The Impact of solvents on protein stability" was based on the successful completion of the postdoctoral fund application and a pass to Harvard.
