Postgresql common paging computing

1. input parameters

 

NPageSize number of records per page

The page number of the nPageIndex to display,> = 1

StrOrderByFieldName sorting Field

StrOrderByDirection

Other query Conditions

 

2. calculate the total number of pages

 

Total number of nTotalCount records, obtained from select count (*) from xxx where other

Total number of nPageCount pages

 

NPageCount = (nTotalCount-1)/nPageSize + 1

 

3. Calculate the start index of the record (not included)

 

NRecordIndex record start index (not included)

 

NRecordIndex = nPageSize * (nPageIndex-1)

 

4. Get the final result

 

Select count (*) from xxx

Where other

Order by [# strOrderByFieldName] [# strOrderDirection]

Limit [# npagesize] offset [# nrecordindex]
