PostgreSQL Gets the table name, field name

PostgreSQL gets all the table names in the database:

SELECT TableName  from Pg_tables WHERE  not  like ' pg% '       and  not  like ' sql_% ' ORDER  by  TableName

PostgreSQL Gets the annotation information for all table names and table in the database:

SELECTTableName, Obj_description (Relfilenode,'Pg_class') fromPg_tables A, Pg_class bWHEREA.tablename=B.relname andA.tablename not  like 'pg%'         andA.tablename not  like 'sql_%'ORDER  byA.tablename;

PostgreSQL gets all the field information for the specified table:

SELECTcol_description (A.attrelid, A.attnum) asComment, Format_type (a.atttypid, A.atttypmod) astype, A.attname asname, A.attnotnull asNotnull fromPg_class asC,pg_attribute asaWHEREC.relname= 'TableName'         andA.attrelid=c.oid andA.attnum>0
