PowerDesigner Version Information

1. File-->newmodel ...

2. Select model

New Model

Model Types-->physical Data Model--Physical Diagram-->ok

4. Configure the data source connection

Database-->configure Connections ...

5. Added database Add data source--User data sources (for current machine only) (U)

Next

6. Create a new data source

Select Microsoft ODBC for Oracle

Next

7. Complete

8. Data Source Configuration

9. Configuration data source complete, now you can see the newly configured data source

10. Connecting Data sources

11. Generate Data dictionary

Select New Data Model--menu selection database-->update model from Database ...

Different PowerDesigner version menu item names may differ, such as: Reverse Engineer Database ...

Shortcut key Ctrl+r

12. Select a data source

Note Select the data source, enter the password after successful connection popup the following box

13. Select the objects you want to import

14. Accomplished
