POWEREDG r730 Server installation win server2012 R2 installation steps

1 download win server R2,

2 because the hard disk of the r730 server is 3.6T, and boot boot when the maximum run 2T hard disk, in the boot first press ctrl+r into the hard drive operation area, press F2 sub-drive, select RAID5, and then 3 disks are selected, in the lower left VD size, it will default to 3.66T, this does not change, save exit.

3 Restart and press F2 to enter Boot manager, select Uefi boot mode instead of boot boot mode.

4 Step Save exit restart after pressing F11 enter, select the second Uefi, and then select the USB boot, before this step, you have to use UltraISO to make a U disk Startup disk, search the Internet to support the RAID driven U disk boot disk image, size is 304M. Then use the UltraISO to make the U-disk Startup disk.

5 after entering the PE, search the partition first, search the save time to select the GUID, do not select MBR. If you select MBR, you will be prompted to install the system with Windows only to the GPT partition.

6 After searching the partition, do a quick partition, or you may be prompted to install the system can not find the partition, and can not locate the partition.

7 Before you proceed to the next step, you will use UltraISO to burn the win server 2012R2 system to the U disk, when the boot disk.

8 When the boot F11 enter, select Uefi, then select the USB boot, and then go to the System installation program, start to install the system.
