PowerPoint2013 How to create image effects and crop images
1, Start PowerPoint 2013 and create a new document, insert a picture on the slide. Select a picture, on the Picture Tools-Format tab, in the Picture Styles group, click the Other button on the Quick Styles list box to open a list of preset picture styles for PowerPoint, and click an option in the list to apply it to the picture, as shown in Figure 1.

2. On the Picture Tools-Format tab, in the Adjustments group, click the Art Effects button to select the Pencil sketch option in the Open list, as shown in Figure 2.

3. Click the Color button in the adjustments group to apply the preset color options in the Recolor column of the open list to the picture to change the tone of the picture, as shown in Figure 3.

4, on the Picture Tools-Format tab, in the Size group, click the Down Triangle button on the Crop button, select the Crop as Shape option in the Open list, and in its cascading list, select the shape you want for the picture to apply to the crop of the picture, as shown in Figure 4.

5. At this point, the picture will be cropped according to the selected graphic, and then drag the control handle on the border to adjust the shape of the graphic, as shown in Figure 5. The picture effect after the crop operation is completed is shown in Figure 6.
