PPC Internet settings are illustrated

During the use of PPC, a lot of friends asked questions about the Internet Settings. Today, I will sort out these questions and announce them here, hoping to help you.

 

1. first, confirm the method you want to use to access the Internet and connect to your mobile phone using infrared. Make sure that the connection is correct. If you are using Bluetooth, you must first pair the PPC with your mobile phone, similarly, ensure that the GPRS card is correctly compatible with your PDA and then perform the following settings:

 

2. Click "Add new modem connection" in Internet Settings"

 

3. You can enter any connection name. If you use Bluetooth to connect, select "Bluetooth dialup modem"

 

4. If you are using an infrared device for connection, select "General IrDA" for connection. If you are using GPRS, you must also select the corresponding GPRS device at this location:

 

 

5. Many friends think that this step does not need to be set, but I am used to it. It is recommended that you set it to be harmless! For details, click "use dialing Rules"

 

6. Check "use dialing rules" and confirm the prompt

 

7. Select the home and enter the editing status

 

8. Clear the "country/region code" and "region code" on the current page, and then enter "Dialing mode" to set

 

9. set all the three settings in "dial-up mode" to uppercase 'G"

 

10. Click "OK" in the upper right corner to return to the following interface and cancel the selection of "use dialing Rules" (that is, remove the preceding check box)

 

11. Click OK again to complete the remaining work.

 

 

12. You do not need to enter the user name and password and domain on this page, but you must enter "advanced" settings.

 

 

13. Select "highest baud rate" and enter + cgdcont = 1, "ip", "cmnet" in the "Additional dialing command" Column (Case Insensitive)

Click OK and complete the settings !!!

Go back to the PPC desktop and click the connection option at the top of the screen to connect. You do not need to write the user name and password, and then click dial-up. Try it !!!
