I was interested in PPT when I first got into touch with my computer in junior high school. I recently met some PPT experts and learned some tips. Here I will make a record and share it with you.
First, I would like to give a brief introduction to the application of PPT. No matter how courseware, report, or speech are made, PPT is always on the wall. However, PPT is not just a tool for speech, but also a promotional film!
Below I sorted out my PPT Study Notes and some tips (in the order of Office 2010 Powerpoint menus, commonly used or advanced functions are marked with yellow background ):
I. Start
- The clipboard can be cut, copied, pasted, and so on. It is worth noting that the format Brush tool can easily change the appearance of any element except video, audio, and image, making it convenient and efficient;
- You can understand how to create and reset slides. You can change the layout of slides to a blank space. "Festival" is a new feature of 2010, which can classify multiple slides, move, copy, merge, and print one or more sections to facilitate management;
- Increase or decrease the font size, erase the format, font spacing, Case sensitivity, color, and shadow (the shadow effect here can be implemented using the shadow in the drawing );
- Paragraph text, charts, and other Alignment Methods. This section focuses on SmartArt, which can quickly convert several lines of text into chart styles. In this case, the "SmartArt tool" menu appears, you can create beautiful charts (lower left );
- Draw and draw a circle, triangle, and so on. usually use a combination of rounded rectangle and curve. Alignment in an arrangement is often used, especially when many elements exist. Combine some elements that require overall animation. Fill the shape with a gradient, and set the transparency to make a spot and other effects. Shape Contour is often set to non-contour. A quick style allows you to quickly change the style of a text or chart. You can also customize the individual elements in the preceding 4 (bottom-right), and make brilliant effects for images and videos, 3D is even more shocking. You can set options on your own;
- Editing can be searched and replaced. Often overlooked choices play a major role, similar to the Layer Effect in PS, it can easily hide an element, easy to set the format or animation of the elements in the following layers.

A table is required for various summaries and reports. You can insert an Excel table. The table copied from Excel has several options when it is pasted. If you select "Link", the data in the Excel file will be synchronized to the ppt;
The image is inserted into the image or clip art without explanation. You need to quickly select the desired window on the screen. Insert an album to quickly create a PPT for multi-image album presentation;

A hyperlink is linked to a slide, a document, or a website. You can move the cursor over the mouse. This is often used for interaction;
There are not many text boxes, headers, and footers. The Artistic Effects in 2010 have improved a lot. You can also select the text and use a drawing tool. The date, time, and slide number are not commonly used. Objects. you can insert PPT or Excel files to implement nesting. Each operation is independent and can integrate multiple PPT files;
Symbol insertion formula, which has preset formulas such as Fourier series and Taylor series. You can also edit the formula by yourself. You can insert some unicode symbols, which are commonly used in courseware;
Media inserts videos and audios. You can set audio and video formats and play back videos.
Iii. Design
Modify the page width/height ratio. I usually use a wide screen. The slide direction is generally unavailable and may be required for printing (lower left );
The topic is the most frequently used word when searching for a PPT: templates, built-in templates are also quite attractive and can be imitated by self-made templates;
Background: The background here is better than the template. I prefer a light gray background with a top light effect (lower right)
4. Switch
Preview to view the switching effect between slides. Automatic preview is available by default.
Switching is the way this slide appears. ppt2010 provides many brilliant switching methods, but some of the 03 versions have disappeared.
Timing allows you to set the sound for the slide switching. You can set the switching speed for the duration, and apply it to each slide. Switching modes include click switching and automatic switching. automatic switching is indispensable for videos. When the Set automatic switching time is less than the end time of the last animation on the stage, the system switches after playing all the animations.
V. Animation
Preview to view the action of an element. Automatic preview is available by default.
Animation ppt contains the essence of entering, emphasizing, exiting, and Action paths. Commonly Used animation paths include fade-out, float-in, and erasure. You can customize the path to draw curves freely, the effect option allows you to set specific parameters for different animations. The following OLE operation actions can be used only when an OLE object is inserted, which is similar to the trigger.
Add an animation to an advanced animation. You can add multiple animations to an element, such as fading out, rotating, and flying in. The animation pane () it is the custom animation panel in version 03. After setting an animation for an element, you can also set a trigger for it, which can be started when you click or move an element. A variety of combinations can create interaction effects. The animation effect is similar to that of a style brush, allowing you to quickly copy a certain type of animation effect.
Timing starts. There are three options: Click, the same as the previous animation, and the last animation. No animation is mostly used for courseware, click mostly for presentation report, and the last two are mostly used for promotion videos. Duration to control the playback speed. Latency: controls the start and end times. Re-order the animation, that is, adjust the appearance sequence of each element.
Vi. Slide Show
The screening starts from scratch, and F5 starts playing from the first one. Shift + F5 is played from the current start. Broadcast slides. After setting up the slides locally, send the links to other computers to play the slides locally. Other computers use a browser to watch the slides. The actual operation found that the screen loading was slow, and some switching effects were not displayed. It seems that you need to enter a Windows Live ID. Custom slide show allows you to extract a part from a slide for different audiences as a slide. For example, the PPT of a subject is used to show students to students, and the instructor version is used to show teachers ).
Set up slide show (for example). There are three types: Speaker, audience, and Booth. Screening option. Loop screening is suitable for music videos. No animation or narration is required. You can also set the display page number and version, as well as the method for changing the projection.
The presenter view can be used only when the projector or other monitors are connected. At this time, the remarks, projection time, and the following pages can be seen during the screening. Hide a slide. Hiding a slide means you cannot see it during the show.
Rehearsal timing: After the timer is saved, you can play the saved video later. It is more practical for the speaker (). There is a timing in the lower left corner of each slide, which is equivalent to adding automatic switching for the speaker, in addition, you can record the operations on each button. In this way, the speaker does not have to operate the mouse during playback, but the user can still operate the mouse. The subsequent recording slide demo is similar to the rehearsal timer. You can clear the previous timer by recording the current slide.

8. View
A common view is divided into slides and outline views. Slide view: You can view each slide in a thumbnail. Remarks page to facilitate remarks. Read view, similar to window display.
Dashboard view slide template, where you can design or modify the template. Handout templates are mostly used for printing and more settings are available on the print page. The remarks template is the template on the remarks page.
Displays the ruler, grid lines, and reference lines. It is often used for typographical design templates;
The display ratio can be used to scale the stage, and the right side is used to fit the window size.
You can choose the same style of color and grayscale to switch all colors with one click.
Create a window and open this document in a new ppt. Cascade, split, and switch windows are rarely used.
