Day-to-day work in the face of customers, introduce our products, often need to make slides, display our products and technical information, how to make their own slides more gorgeous eye-catching, you may think, the production of slides, add animation switch effect on the OK.

Text, pictures, shapes, tables, SmartArt graphics, and other objects in a Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 presentation are animated to give them visual effects such as entry, exit, size or color change, or even move.

The following four different types of animation effects are available in PowerPoint 2010:

1. "Entry" effect. For example, you can make an object fade into focus, fly from edge to slide, or jump into view.

2. "Exit" effect. These effects include making an object fly out of a slide, disappearing from view, or spinning out of a slide.

3. "Emphasis" effect. Examples of these effects include making an object shrink or enlarge, change color, or rotate along its center.

4. Motion path. Use these effects to move objects up or down, move around, or move along a star or circular pattern (along with other effects).

You can use any of the animations individually, or you can combine a variety of effects. For example, you can apply the emphasis entry effect and the spin emphasis effect on one line of text to make it rotate.

To apply multiple animation effects to a single object:

1. Select the text or object you want to add multiple animation effects to.

2. On the Animation tab, in the Advanced Animation group, click Add Animation, and if you have more than one object that requires the same animation effect, you can use the animation brush (which must be PowerPoint 2010), and easily brush your troubles away.

Switching is another way to add visual effects to a slide. A slide transition effect is an animation effect that appears in slide show view during a presentation, moving from one slide to the next. You can control the speed of the transitions, add sounds, and even customize the properties of the toggle effect.

To add a transition effect to a slide:

1. In the pane that contains the outline and Slides tab, click the Slides tab

2. Select the thumbnail of the slide for which you want to apply a toggle effect.

3. On the Toggle tab, in the switch to this slide group, click the slide transition effect that you want to apply to the slide.

In the switch to this slide group, select a toggle effect. In this example, select the library toggle effect that only PowerPoint 2010 has.

The switching effect is divided into three categories: fine type, gorgeous type, dynamic content.　　In the "gorgeous" there are a lot of switching effect, only in PowerPoint 2010, to try these switching effects, must make your slides more cool! To add video and audio to your slides:

As the customer does the demo, you want to play a video file to increase the effect of the demo, which can be embedded in the video or linked to the video in PowerPoint 2010. When you embed a video, you don't have to worry about losing the file when you copy the presentation to another location, thinking that all the files are stored separately. You can also limit the size of your presentation to a video file on your local hard drive or to a video file on your site (Youku, potatoes, etc.).

If Quicktime and Adobe Flash players are installed, PowerPoint will support Quicktime (. mov,. MP4) and Adobe Flash (. swf) files.

There are some limitations to using Flash in PowerPoint 2010, including the ability to use special effects such as shading, reflection, glow effects, soft edges, bevel and three-dimensional rotation, fade and trim capabilities, and to compress these files for easier sharing and distribution.

PowerPoint 2010 does not support 64-bit versions of QuickTime or Flash.

Embed video from a file:

1. In normal view, click the slide to which you want to embed the video.

2. On the Insert tab, in the Media group, click the arrow under Video, and then click Video in File.

3. In the Insert Video dialog box, locate and click the video you want to embed, and then click Insert. Tip You can also click the video icon in the content layout to insert the video.

Inserted video, you can preview, set the "video Effect" "video shape" and so on (play your imagination to try it)!
