Recently, I 've put all my focus on JavaScript-Driven Web application development. JavaScript is responsible for driving the front-end and back-end. This is a very strange method, especially those tech-olds who have been immersed in traditional server-side technologies (such as PHP) for more than a decade feel incredible. The emergence of several cutting-edge technologies opens the door to building truly immersive interactive Web applications, such Web applications and desktop applications are similar in many aspects.
Even with these promising new features, it is still quite difficult to ignore the elephants in the room (iPad, and an increasing number of competitors such as XOOM, in less than three years, the sales of its applications have exceeded 1 billion US dollars. Obviously, the days for accessing network content through Browsers alone are over.
The development and development of iPad/iPhone applications require different skills than those of development websites. However, your technical accumulation over the past years may not work in any way. However, we must understand that only by accepting changes can we be successful. You may wonder how nice it is to use the existing skills to develop Web applications for iPad, if you don't believe it, go on and read it.
Add an icon to the iPad Icon menu
I want to start by putting the cart before the horse, because many developers prefer to ask a question. How can I closely integrate Web applications with the iPad interface? This is actually a question: how can I start an application by clicking the icon of an application on the Application menu? Believe it or not, the answer is simpler than you think, because the Safari browser of the iPad already has such a function, as shown in figure 1.

When you click "Add to Home Screen", the iPad will create an application icon for the website and use the screenshot of the current page, use the website domain name as the icon title, as shown in figure 2.

After the icon is created, it is added to the Application menu, as shown in 3.

By the way, the standard iPad Icon size is 72X72 pixels.
For security reasons, Web developers cannot automate this process, but you can use friendly reminders to remind users how to do it.
