Pre-upgrade BIOS preparation

Before you upgrade your BIOS, you need to do some of the following preparations.

(2) According to the BIOS type, download the corresponding BIOS upgrade tool from the Internet. The >phlash.exe:phoenix dedicated BIOS upgrades the program in DOS.

Small knowledge: At present, many motherboard manufacturers have developed a special tool for upgrading the BIOS under Windows XP system, these tools are simple to operate, but very applicable, and because the motherboard manufacturers developed their own, so security is also guaranteed, such as the Gigabyte motherboard @bios Flasher, ASUS Motherboard ASUS Update, MSI Motherboard of live updata, etc.

(3) According to the motherboard model, download the corresponding BIOS update file from its Palace website. Note that each type of motherboard has its corresponding BIOS file, can not be mistaken, otherwise the upgrade will damage the motherboard.

Tip: If the BIOS for the motherboard is the award BIOS type, the BIOS data file used for the upgrade is usually the. bin extension and, if it is the Amibios type, usually. Rom is the extension.

(4) Upgrade to ensure power supply stability, can not occur in the middle of the situation, or will cause the upgrade lost 畋, damage to the motherboard.
