Preparing to make the Windows XP installation CD

There are a number of ways you can do this by making Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home two-in-one installation CD. Below, XP home will use a more popular method to complete the design of this disc. Through the following learning, a little change can easily achieve the installation of N-Unity CD-ROM design.

First, preparatory work

Before making this installation disc, the following preparations are required:

Windows XP Professional SP2 installation CD.

Windows XP Home SP1 installation CD.

Easyboot.

UltraEdit.

Windows XP Professional boot Floppy disk production file, download file name is Winxpspl_cn_pro_bf.exe, size 4.43MB.

Windows XP Home Edition boot floppy disk production file, download file name is Winxpspl_cn_hom_bf.exe, size 4.43MBo

WinImage.

• A picture named Xp2inl.bmp that can be used in Easyboot using Photoshop and ACDSee conversion.

After you have completed the preparation of the above software, you will need to do some pre-setup operations on Easyboot:

1, complete the installation of Easyboot, this example will be installed to the C-packing directory.

2, run the C:easyboot directory of the EasyBoot.exe file, in the open window of the File tab, click the New button, create a new menu file named Xp2inl.ezb, click the "Save" button, save it to C: The Easybootdisklezboot directory. In the C:easybootdisklezboot directory, delete all files except Ezboot.dat, Ezboot.ico, Xp2inl.ezb, and then move the W2ksect.bin file to the C:EASYBOOTDISKL directory. Then copy it to the C:easybootdisklezboot directory, rename it to Wxphome.bin, rename w2ksect.bin file in C:easybootcliskl directory to Wxpwpro.bin, and move to C: The Easybootdisklezboot directory.

3. After copying the xp2inl.bmp to the C:easybootctisklezboot directory, set it as the background image in Easyboot, as shown in Figure 1.

4, in the C:EASYBOOTCUSKL directory, in turn, create the following subfolders:

c:easybootdisklhome: Used to store the home version of the startup floppy disk group file.

C:easybootdisklwpro: Used to store the professional version of the startup floppy disk group file.

C:easybootdisklsystem: The installation system under which two versions of storage are created.

c:easybootdisklsystemhome: Used to store the home version of the Windows XP CD installation file.

C:easybootdisklsystemwpro: Used to store Professional version of Windows XP CD-ROM installation files.
