Pre-processing (prepared) allows the DBMS to pre-compile the SQL statements that are repeatedly executed. Then, call the encoded SQL statement and pass the data.

Step 2: Prepare for preprocessing

Syntax:

Prepare preprocessing name from 'SQL statement ';

Syntax:

Execute preprocessing name;

Use of preprocessing:

1. Fixed SQL statements, as shown in the preceding example.

Placeholder?

Placeholders are mainly used to indicate dynamically changing data in SQL statements.
