This article describes how to preview a page before you print it by displaying print preview in Excel 2010. Also describes how to use the page layout view, which allows you to change and edit the document while you are viewing it.
I created a reading list using Excel 2010. Can I preview before I print? I mean, how do i show a print preview in Excel 2010?
In Excel 2010, click File and Print, and then Print preview appears.
In the preview, you can configure all types of print settings. For example, copy number, printer, page range, single-sided/double-sided printing, portrait, page size.
It's very intuitive, because you can change the settings at the same time you see the print effect on the right side of the window. I often use a feature to automatically indent a 2-page table on 1 pages. To use this feature, click Zoom and select Print sheet on 1 sheets of paper.
In Excel 2010, there is a feature called page layout view, which allows you to edit the worksheet as it prints.
How do you use it?
In the workbook view group, click the View tab and then the page layout view.
I can see how it's printed because the blank area around the table is also displayed. You mean, I can edit the worksheet while I look at the image. How do I return to the previous view? Click normal?
That's right. You can also switch views through the buttons at the bottom right of the window. The three buttons represent normal view, page layout view, and Page preview. Page Preview lets you see how pages are paginated.
It is useful to remember that you can change the view in Excel 2010 with just one click.
