Privacy Protection-hide files using the Win XP Recycle Bin

We all know that using the Windows 98 recycle bin can hide files, but using the Windows XP recycle bin to hide files is not that easy. You cannot change the recycle bin to a folder as in Windows 98. Is there no other way? Of course not. Use WinRAR 3.0 to implement it easily. The steps are as follows.

1. First clear the recycle bin, then open WinRAR 3.0, and enter the recycle bin from the address bar (for example, "C: Recycled", which can be seen no matter whether the recycle bin is hidden or not). You can see two system files.

Then go to the "Files" tab, click the "add" button, select the file or folder to hide, and press "OK" to return; then go to the "advanced" tab, click "set password", enter the password in the pop-up form, select the "encrypted file name" check box, and click "OK.

Now the original file (folder) has been packaged and hidden in the recycle bin. You can go to "Resource Manager" and delete the original file. Who else can find the hidden file? Even if someone finds it, it cannot be unopened without a password.

The recovery method is also very simple. Open WinRAR 3.0, go to the recycle bin, select the file to be restored, decompress and release it to other folders.

Note: to prevent unintentional exposure, you must switch the WinRAR 3.0 address bar to another path after the operation is completed. Otherwise, the next time you open WinRAR 3.0, you will directly go to the recycle bin.
