Install insight in ubuntu10.04.

  1. When compiling some files, the system prompts no curses/termcap library found. This prompt indicates that the termcap library file is missing.
To solve this problem, run the following command to install
    Sudo apt-Get install libncurses5-dev
    Then re-compile the file.
  2. Cd gdb # (go to the gdb directory under insight)

Sudo gedit makefile

Find werror_cflags =-werror and change it

Werror_cflags = #-werror (here you can also delete the content after '=' and change it to werror_cflgas =)

3. CD insight-6-8-1/GDB

Sudo gedit i386-linux-nat.c

Add the following to the header file:

# Include "i387-tdep.h"

Save and exit
