Problems with Dovecot POP3 service clients in Postfix mail system that cannot accept mail

I recently encountered a problem with the Dovecot POP3 service clients in the Postfix mail system that could not accept mail, as recorded in the Mail log

As shown in the following illustration:

Report cannot open mailbox, internal error.

Open a mailbox using the VI editor vi/var/mail/info see the first line is empty, delete this blank line, save and then try to collect mail, the results of a smooth receipt of the message.

Read some other people's introduction, the possible reason is Dovecot version is too low, after the upgrade will not appear again.

Due to the current business relationship, can not be upgraded for the time being, wait until the peak period of business to consider upgrading.
