Problems with installing VMware Tools in Ubuntu

I suddenly needed Ubuntu for porting centos. I was a little unaccustomed. I had some trouble installing VMware Tools. Even though I had a few crashes, I felt bad ...... The problems encountered during the installation and their solutions are listed.

 

1. Use VMware Tools on your own .. Decompress and compile the tar.gz package, install it, and press ENTER step by step ......

 

2. After the installation is complete, nothing is found in/mnt/HGFS

However, in/usr/bin, running./vmware-hgfsclient can display the directory of the shared folder I set, which is very strange ......

 

After seeking advice, I found that:

Install this package:

Sudo apt-Get install Open-VM-dkms

 

Then, run the following command:

Sudo Mount-T vmhgfs. HOST: // MNT/HGFS

This is the case.
