The following is the installation log for redhat as4 to install ORACLE10G

The cause of this problem is:
A 32-bit ORACLE database is installed on a 64-bit machine, or vice versa. It is an error that 64-bit databases are installed on a 32-bit system !!!
I installed the 64-bit ORACLE on a 32-bit system!
2. Check whether Linux is 32-bit or 64-bit.
[Root @ xxzx-esx-cycjk ~] # Getconf LONG_BIT
64
If it is 64, It is 64
[Root @ xxzx-esx-cycjk ~] # Echo $ HOSTTYPE
X86_64
[Root @ xxzx-esx-cycjk ~] # Uname-
Linux xxzx-esx-cycjk2.6.18-164.el5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 18 15:51:48 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The above x86_64 is also 64
32-bit display:
