Problems with the Elipse CDT plug-in

Problem: the installation of CDT cannot be completed and the following information is obtained:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items cocould not be found.
Software being installed: C/C ++ Remote launch 6.0.0.201202111925 (Org. Eclipse. CDT. Launch. Remote. feature. Group 6.0.0.201202111925)
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: C/C ++ Remote launch 6.0.0.201202111925 (Org. Eclipse. CDT. Launch. Remote. feature. Group 6.0.0.201202111925)
To: org. Eclipse. CDT. Launch. Remote [2.3.0.201202111925]

 

Solution: Download/install RSE and reinstall CDT

  • Download RSE:Http://www.eclipse.org/tm/
  • In eclipse, help --> install new softwear --> Add
  • Click OK
  • Reinstall CDT
