Previously, we described the installation process of the DHCP server. The next step is to parse the content of the DHCP server. After installing the DHCP service, you must first add an authorized DHCP server and add a scope to the server to set the corresponding IP address range and option type, so that the DHCP client can obtain the IP address lease and related options when logging on to the network.
To add a DHCP server, follow these steps:
Step 1. Start the DHCP console, 11.6
Add a DHCP server Step 2 select "Add Server" in the "operations" menu, start the Add Server wizard and click "Next". The "specify DHCP server" dialog box appears, as shown in, click "Browse" and the "authorized server in directory" dialog box appears. Here, you can add authorization to the DHCP server. Click "add". The "authorized DHCP server" form 11.7 is displayed, enter the name or IP address of the server to which the DHCP service is to be created.
Step 3: In the "servers authorized in the directory" dialog box, select the server added in the previous step and click "manage" → next → complete
