Production of simple PS metal chain

　　First step

Creates a new 250x250 pixel graphic with a dark gray foreground color and a new layer, named Wire. Sets the width of the brush to 15 pixels. Then draw a line segment on the layer

　　Second Step

To copy the layer wire, you can drag it onto the new Layer button.

Now hide the layer wire, you can click on it left join small eyes.

Select the Eraser tool to set its size to 5 pixels.

Cut the line into the image shown above

Hold down the CTRL key and click the layer line that is hidden. The contour of the segment is selected. Then go to the Channel panel and click to save the selection as a channel button. Double-click the new channel and name it a tap.

　　Fourth Step

　　Below you have to do the selection of four times Gaussian blur, four times fuzzy values are 9,6,3,1. Press CTRL + Shift + CTRL L back to the layers panel. Press and hold the key to click the layer that is cut off by the segment to make the segment line selected. Then go to the channel panel, select the Tap channel, press D, then press CTRL + Shift + L, and finally, clear the selection, you can press the DELETE key.
Deselect the range, press CTRL + D.

　　Fifth Step

Go back to the layers panel and open the menu:

Filters-render-lighting effects parameters are as follows:

Performance:

Gloss: 100

Materials: 100

Exposure: 39

Environment: 21

Select the tap channel in the texture channel.

Finally, add some shadow to the generated metal chain, the effect is complete
