If you want to prohibit an IP address from accessing the Oracle database, you can use the Valid Node Verification function.

1. Set in $ ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/sqlnet. ora:

TCP. VALIDNODE_CHECKING = yes

TCP. EXCLUDED_NODES = NODES = (finance.us.example.com, mktg.us.example.com, 192.168.2.25) =====> Replace with the host you are not allowed to access

2. Restart listener later.

3. An error occurs when the client accesses the database again.
