To Disable icmp response in Linux, You can edit the/proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_all file value. If it is 0, ping the file. If it is 1, no response is returned.

Run: echo 1> icmp_echo_ignore_all

Run echo 0> icmp_echo_ignore_all if ping is enabled.

The restart will fail, so it will run automatically after startup. Run:
